Christian Clearing House and community partners are coming together once again to help local students start the school year prepared and confident through the annual “Stuff the Bus” school supply drive.

Community members are invited to donate new school supplies during the collection event taking place July 23 and July 24 at McDonald’s on Tiffin Avenue in Findlay. Volunteers from Christian Clearing House (CCH) and partner organizations will be on-site collecting backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, folders, and other back-to-school essentials for Hancock County students in need.

Families needing assistance with backpacks and shoe vouchers for the upcoming school year may register beginning Tuesday, July 22, at 8:30 a.m. Registration will be available through the Christian Clearing House Facebook page and online at CCHSupport.org. Spots fill up quickly.

Registration is required and assistance is available only for students who live in Hancock County and attend a Hancock County school.

Distribution is scheduled for Friday, August 1, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Family Center, located at 1800 North Blanchard Street in Findlay.

Community members who would like to support the effort can donate school supplies during the July collection event or contact Christian Clearing House for additional ways to help.

This event is about making sure every child in our community starts the school year with the tools they need to succeed, the support from local businesses, volunteers, and residents makes a real difference for Hancock County families.
