Our Programs
🔌 Neighbor to Neighbor
Neighbor to Neighbor Program is funded through AEP Ohio’s customer donation and round-up initiatives, which allow customers to contribute spare change or make voluntary donations to help neighbors facing financial hardship. Funds collected through the program are used to provide utility assistance grants that help eligible households maintain or restore essential electric service. AEP Ohio also matches eligible donations, increasing the impact of community contributions.
CCH assists customers by accepting and processing applications for the program. After an application is submitted, eligibility and funding determinations are reviewed and approved by an independent third-party administrator before assistance is awarded. Approved grants are applied directly to the customer’s electric account to help prevent service disconnection or restore electric service when eligible.
