Neighbor to Neighbor-A round-up program through AEP Electric, administered by CCH. 

Project Happy Feet– A program that provides Hancock County children with shoes (through a voucher program) at the start of the school year.  This program was initially funded through a $25,000 grant from Marathon Petroleum (LPGA). Ongoing funding is needed to sustain this program

Stuff the Bus– Community collaborative with WFIN/WKXA that distributes school supplies to area children at the start of the school year. All supplies are donated by businesses and individuals in the community.  Christian Clearing House became the hosting agency in 2014 for the annual event. Annually more than 1,300 backpacks were distributed to local children.       

Project Sparkle and Shine– This program was designed to assists Hanock County student with prom dresses. Donated dresses are distributed annually in the spring.  

Halt Hunger – A program partially funded to “Halt Hunger through the United Way of Hancock County implementing, and promoting long-term sustainable solutions to the problem of hunger in Hancock County.  

The Caring Cupboard Supplies taxable items (which have been donated by the community) are distributed to clients who have a need.  Items include but are not limited to toilet paper, diapers & wipes, hygiene items, dish detergent, laundry soap.  These supplies are in constant demand. 

Referral Program If another program can better assist a client, they are referred.  CCH works closely with private agencies, governmental agencies, area schools and churches to meet the needs of the Hancock County community.
